The legend of Terra Australis dates back to Roman times being the unknown land of the South.
Now for the second time to Austria comes a group show of diverse Australian artists curated by one of the most important collectors and philanthropist Simon Mordant.

Tamara Dean a former photo journalist is now using her skills to create extraordinary photographic images.
Linde Ivimey uses found objects to create extraordinary sculptural works.
Janet Laurence is focused on the environment and the impact of the world today on this.
Lindy Lee deals with being in-between two cultures.
Dani Marti tries to find answers to questions of sexuality, intimacy, the body and identity.
Danie Mellor is an artist with Indigenous heritage whose work explores the often challenging intersections of Aboriginal and Western cultures.

These six artists are a great representation of contemporary art practise in Australia and all of the show in Austria for the first time.
The exhibition was supported by the Australian Embassy Vienna.
